Questions

What is Bibleside?

A Bible study companion you open beside the Bible you already read. Enter a passage and it builds a study sheet: key Greek and Hebrew words, background, cross-references and related Old Testament passages, what classic commentators said, and discussion questions. Then you can ask about anything on the sheet.

Where can I get it?

Bibleside is for iPhone and Android. The App Store and Google Play links are on the home page.

Does it include a Bible?

No. Bibleside is not a Bible reader. Every reference opens in YouVersion, in the translation you choose. Short quotations on a sheet come from free translations, such as the Berean Standard Bible in English.

Where do the answers come from?

From Bibleside's own data: original-language text, lexicons, cross-references, study notes and commentary. The AI works only from what is retrieved for your passage. Every answer names its sources, and every Bible reference is checked before you see it.

Does Bibleside take sides on contested questions?

No. On questions where traditions disagree, such as baptism, election, the end times or spiritual gifts, the sheet sets out each position and names who holds it. It does not give a view of its own.

Which commentators does it use?

Classic public-domain commentators, each labelled with tradition and date, for example "Adam Clarke, Methodist, 1810" and "Keil and Delitzsch, Lutheran, 1864".

Can I use it to lead a group?

Yes. Each sheet has discussion questions, and it is built to be your preparation for a group study, ready to share with the group.

Which languages will it support?

English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German, Polish, Indonesian, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Arabic, Italian, Dutch, Romanian, Ukrainian and Russian.

Does it cost anything?

Bibleside starts with a free trial, then needs a monthly or annual subscription, bought through the App Store or Google Play.

How do I report a wrong or offensive answer?

Every study sheet and answer has a report button. You can also email [email protected].

How do I delete my account?
